Anime about horse on losing streak, cat jockey gets 4 new episodes
Asahi TV announced on Friday that the Neko Jockey short anime will have a second season. It will premiere in November with four episodes, with a new episode every Thursday at 11:10 pm.
The anime centers on Mannen Billy, a thoroughbred horse with thirty consecutive losses, and a cat jockey that has doubtful skill but indubitable cuteness. Masayuki Yuasa voices the cat jockey, Satoshi Asakawa voices the trainer, Akio Ohtsuka voices the horse’s owner, and Tomohiro Ōno voices another jockey who is skilled.
The first season aired for four episodes in May earlier this year.
